This was the very first photo I took upon arriving in downtown Bangkok. I had literally just stepped off the train from the airport and was in awe at this city's massive size, diverse architecture, and bustling sounds (not to mention the scorching humidity...)
Wat Pho #1
I believe this photo perfectly captures the captivatingly unique architectural style of this temple. This is the first temple I have seen in Asia, so it is quite literally unlike anything I have ever seen.
Wat Pho #2
Here's another shot of the rooftops of this beautiful temple.
The Grand Palace certainly lives up to its name. I walked alongside the entire outer wall and captured this shot as I approached the main gates.
Thai Ministry of Defence
Directly across from the Grand Palace stands the Ministry of Defence, along with several other state buildings. The strikingly bright colors instantly caught my eye and the Thai flag waving in the breeze provided the perfect complement to this shot.
